Level: Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager (DOE)
We’re seeking a sharp, motivated Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager to support complex healthcare construction projects, including hospitals, medical office buildings, outpatient centers, and specialized care facilities. This is a key opportunity to join a reputable general contractor with a strong presence in the healthcare sector, known for delivering high-quality, technically challenging projects on time and within budget.
Assist with or manage project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and meeting minutes
Support project scheduling and coordination with superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors
Track costs, budgets, and change orders
Collaborate closely with project managers and senior leadership
Ensure all work complies with healthcare-specific codes, regulations, and infection control requirements (ICRA/ILSM)
Conduct site visits and support field coordination
Help maintain relationships with healthcare clients, architects, and trade partners
2–5+ years of experience in commercial construction (PE or APM level)
Strong preference for candidates with healthcare/hospital construction experience
Familiarity with OSHPD/HCAI or other healthcare compliance requirements is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms
Strong organizational skills and a proactive, team-first attitude
