Maintenance Manager – Food/Meat Manufacturing Location: Upper Midwest (On-Site) Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000+ DOE + Full Benefits Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift (flex based on production needs)

A growing and well-established food manufacturing organization is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead a small but high-performing team in a fast-paced production environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving problems, improving equipment uptime, and building strong maintenance systems that support growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, coach, and schedule a maintenance team supporting daily operations

  • Own preventive & predictive maintenance programs to maximize uptime

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical/electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic systems

  • Ensure timely equipment setups, changeovers, and repairs

  • Maintain accurate CMMS and equipment documentation

  • Partner with Production & Sanitation for safe, efficient operations

  • Support equipment installs, fabrication, and continuous improvement

  • Uphold USDA/FDA compliance and strong food safety standards

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in food or meat processing

  • Strong multi-skill troubleshooting ability

  • Experience leading technicians or serving as the go-to lead

  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and equipment manuals

  • Comfortable working in cold/refrigerated environments

  • Welding/fabrication and basic PLC exposure preferred
