Remote Structural Steel Detailer (SDS/2)
We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel Detailer to join our team in a fully remote role. The ideal candidate will have strong experience detailing both structural steel and miscellaneous metals, including stairs, railings, ladders, platforms, and other architectural metal packages. Proficiency with SDS/2 is required.
Responsibilities
- Produce accurate shop and erection drawings using SDS/2.
- Detail structural steel and miscellaneous metal packages.
- Interpret architectural and structural drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, fabricators, and field personnel.
- Review drawings for constructability and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Process revisions and maintain drawing accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of structural steel detailing experience.
- Strong proficiency with SDS/2.
- Extensive experience detailing miscellaneous metals, including stairs, railings, ladders, and platforms.
- Knowledge of AISC standards and structural steel fabrication practices.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple projects.

- Base salary up to $90,000
