Project Manager – Marine Construction
We are a leading marine construction firm specializing in marinas, docks, seawalls, shoreline stabilization, and other marine and shoreline projects. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee our marine construction projects and contribute to our success.
The Project Manager will manage marine construction projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards. Reporting to the Vice President, this role includes coordinating project teams, assisting with estimating during downtime, and maintaining client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and execute marine construction projects, including marinas, docks, and seawalls.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, monitoring progress and resolving issues.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, engineers, and suppliers to meet project requirements.
- Assist with cost estimating and bid preparation using HCSS HeavyBid during downtime.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Conduct site visits to oversee operations, quality, and safety.
- Prepare project reports and provide updates to management and clients.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in marine construction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Marine, or related field) highly preferred.
- Experience with HCSS HeavyBid estimating software highly preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of marine construction processes, including docks, seawalls, and shoreline stabilization.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
