A growing civil engineering company which is certified in six states, offers a work-life balance, competitive salary with bonuses, and an excellent benefit package is seeking a Project Engineer and a Design Engineer to join their growing team.

 

Project Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Able to design land development plans for subdivisions, and large scale or multi-family developments, including all plans, drainage reports, and calculations.
  • Provide direction to drafting team and design engineers to meet all city regulations and deadlines.
  • Coordinate design plans with inner office personnel, client, and city review team.
  • Attend meetings to obtain project approval through all local and state governing agencies.

Design Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Project Engineer to design land development plans for subdivisions, and large scale or multi-family developments, including all plans, drainage reports, and calculations.
  • Receive direction from Project Engineer to design the development’s plans and drainage.

Qualifications for both positions:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (or a closely related field) from an accredited college or university.
  • Professional Engineer license or Engineer in Training certification preferred but not required.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Familiar with hydrologic and hydraulic computer programs (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, culvert/open channel design tools).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
