🚨 DISPATCHER / OPERATIONS ASSISTANT – GREENVILLE, SC

📍 Greenville, SC | ON-SITE 💰 $60,000–$70,000 DOE

Are you an experienced Dispatcher, Operations Coordinator, or Transportation Operations professional who knows how to keep trucks, drivers, customers, and schedules moving?

I’m recruiting for a Dispatcher / Operations Assistant who will play an important role in the day-to-day operation.

This is NOT just a phone-answering or data-entry position. We need someone who can take ownership, solve problems, communicate with drivers and customers, and keep things organized when the day gets busy.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Coordinate daily dispatch and transportation activities • Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal operations • Monitor loads, schedules, pickups and deliveries • Handle changes, delays and last-minute operational issues • Keep accurate records and update transportation systems • Assist with routing, scheduling and driver coordination • Help ensure loads are moving efficiently and on time • Support the Operations Manager with daily transportation needs • Identify problems before they become bigger problems • Provide general administrative and operational support

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

✅ Transportation/logistics experience preferred ✅ Previous dispatch or operations experience strongly preferred ✅ Strong communication and organizational skills ✅ Comfortable working with drivers and customers ✅ Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment ✅ Strong computer skills and ability to learn new TMS/software ✅ Detail-oriented and dependable ✅ Someone who can think on their feet and make decisions

THE RIGHT PERSON:

You don't have to know everything on Day One.

But you do need to understand transportation, have a sense of urgency, be organized, and be the person others can count on when something goes sideways.
