Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) to join our orthopedic pain management clinic. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work closely with a team of experienced orthopedic physicians to provide high-quality, patient-centered care focused on managing acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history, physical exams, and pain assessments

  • Diagnose and manage orthopedic-related pain conditions, including back, neck, joint, and nerve pain

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians

  • Prescribe medications and manage pharmacologic pain treatments within scope of practice

  • Administer or assist with interventional pain procedures (e.g., joint injections, trigger point injections, nerve blocks)

  • Educate patients on pain management strategies, treatment plans, and follow-up care

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests (X-rays, MRIs, labs) to support clinical decision-making

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems

  • Coordinate care with physical therapy, surgery, or other specialties as needed

  • Participate in case reviews, staff meetings, and quality improvement initiatives


Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a PA or ARNP in the state of [Insert State]

  • NCCPA or board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, etc.)

  • DEA license and ability to prescribe controlled substances

  • Experience in orthopedics, pain management, or related specialties preferred

  • Excellent communication, diagnostic, and patient education skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
