About the Position

A well-established Illinois law firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney with 2–5 years of experience to join our growing practice. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with clients, manage your own caseload, and develop your litigation and negotiation skills under the guidance of experienced attorneys.

Responsibilities

  • Handle a range of cases from intake through resolution, including client communication, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
  • Attend court appearances, mediations, and depositions as needed
  • Work closely with senior attorneys on strategy, case management, and client relations
  • Maintain excellent communication with clients, keeping them informed throughout the process
  • Contribute to the firm’s reputation for compassionate and effective legal advocacy

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in Illinois (in good standing)
  • 2–5 years of relevant legal experience, ideally in litigation, personal injury, family law, or related practice areas
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Spanish fluency strongly preferred

Compensation and Benefits

  • $100,000 – $120,000 (commensurate with experience)
