Position Overview: The Loan Operations Manager leads the loan operations team, ensuring efficient processing, servicing, and administration of all loan products. This role requires regulatory compliance, leadership skills, and a commitment to customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loan Processing and Administration:
- Manage loan processing cycle, including disbursements and repayments.
- Ensure loan documentation accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee loan servicing activities.
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor loan operations staff.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide training.
- Address team-related issues.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports.
- Coordinate with auditors during examinations.
- System and Process Management:
- Optimize loan processing software use.
- Develop efficient workflows and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT for system updates.
- Customer Service Excellence:
- Ensure prompt and courteous service to customers.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues.
- Maintain strong customer relationships.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Evaluate and improve loan processing workflows.
- Implement best practices for accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
- At least 5 years in loan operations.
- Strong knowledge of loan products and servicing.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in loan processing software.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
