Operations Facility Manager
We are seeking an experienced Operations Facility Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of plant operations, including environmental compliance, health and safety, quality assurance, production, maintenance, and capital projects. This role focuses on delivering operational efficiency while consistently meeting customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to supervisory and management teams through coaching, mentoring, and professional development.
- Champion a strong safety culture and spearhead initiatives aimed at improving workplace safety.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable regulations and standards, including those set by OSHA, EPA, HACCP, and other regulatory bodies.
- Generate and analyze monthly operational and financial reports; implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Oversee the flow of incoming materials and outgoing products to ensure timely processing and shipment.
- Drive continuous improvement across all operational areas.
- Plan and manage local capital improvement projects to enhance facility performance and future readiness.
- Ensure that team members are properly trained and that all equipment is maintained in optimal condition.
- Confirm that all outgoing finished goods meet quality specifications and customer requirements.
- Implement energy-saving initiatives and manage resource efficiency within the facility.
- Oversee purchasing functions at the site level.
- Perform other related duties as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role within an industrial, manufacturing, or plant environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the rendering or similar processing industry.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred; an engineering background is advantageous.
- Strong background in labor relations and team leadership.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, both verbal and written.
- Self-driven and proactive with strong problem-solving skills.
- Competence in mathematics and general computer applications.

Salary: $120,000.00 - $135,00.00
