Assistant Grain Location Manager in Stanford

Job Description

A very successful Ag operation is looking to bring on an Assistant Grain Location Manager to oversee a facility in the area. This position is with a fantastic company that offers an excellent compensation and full benefit package.

Assistant Grain Location Manager Responsibilities:

• Assist in manage the planning and direction of facility operations
• Ensure that daily operations meet all standards and operational schedules
• Oversee a team and promote improvement in quality, safety and cost performance
• Perform general maintenance and repairs of the facility
• Assists with grain marketing and reporting.
• Receives commodities and checks quality of the product to ensure standards are met.
• Stores existing commodities properly and exercises inventory control
• Observes conveyor operations and monitors lights, dials, and gauges, in order to maintain specified operating levels and to detect equipment malfunctions.
• Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctionsand informs others of equipment attention needed.

Assistant Grain Location Manager Requirements:

• 3+ years' grain experience preferred
• Experience with AS400 or Agris a plus 
• Self-motivated, ambitious and able to work under pressure
• Strong work ethic, problem solving skills and leadership abilities
• Maintenance experience heavily preferred

Pay: $60K-$85K + bonus potential
