Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated C&I Loan Officer to join our lending team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial lending, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a solid understanding of the local market. You’ll be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of C&I relationships, underwriting credit requests, and helping businesses in our region grow and succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of Commercial & Industrial (C&I) loans.
  • Source new lending opportunities through networking, community involvement, and referrals.
  • Analyze financial statements, perform credit analysis, and prepare loan presentations.
  • Ensure all lending practices comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with borrowers and monitor loan performance.
  • Collaborate with credit analysts, loan operations, and executive leadership.
  • Represent the bank at local business events and community functions.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in C&I lending, preferably in a community bank or regional bank setting.
  • Proven ability to generate new business and manage lending relationships.
  • Strong credit analysis and underwriting skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Familiarity with Central Texas markets and industries is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
