HVAC/R Dispatcher – Service Division
Location: Must be local to the area
Compensation: Up to $55,000 base + benefits
Position Type: Full-Time, On-Site
An established mechanical contractor is seeking an HVAC/R Service Dispatcher to join its fast-paced and growing team. This position is responsible for scheduling and dispatching HVAC and refrigeration technicians, coordinating service calls, and maintaining clear and efficient communication across field and office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispatch HVAC/R technicians for service calls, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs
Prioritize and schedule incoming service requests based on urgency, availability, and location
Monitor work order progress, technician location, and job status to ensure timely completion
Serve as the main point of contact between field teams, customers, and internal departments
Support documentation, quoting, and billing follow-ups as needed
Make quick decisions to resolve scheduling conflicts or delays
Qualifications:
1–3 years of dispatch experience (HVAC/R or related service trades preferred)
Understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems and terminology is a plus
Highly organized, with strong administrative and multitasking skills
Professional and clear communicator who remains calm under pressure
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, etc.) and dispatching/job tracking systems
Local to the area and available for in-office work
