Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Environmental Civil Engineering to lead and grow our environmental services division. This individual will be a key member of the management team, responsible for both technical project execution and team leadership. This is a unique opportunity to make a direct impact on a thriving firm with a strong backlog of diverse and meaningful projects.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and mentor the Environmental Services team across a variety of active projects.
  • Oversee and contribute to the preparation of technical documents including:
  • Soil boring logs
  • Environmental maps and figures
  • Well construction and sampling reports
  • Phase II and remediation reports
  • Manage field investigations involving soil, groundwater, soil vapor, indoor air, and aquifer sampling.
  • Direct environmental projects from planning and investigation through remediation and post-monitoring under both state and federal regulatory frameworks.
  • Interface with clients and provide clear, timely updates on project status and findings.
  • Assist in the development of work plans and final technical reports.
  • Contribute to company growth through account management, business development, and marketing efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in site investigation and remediation, with at least 3 years in project management roles.
  • Strong background in regulatory compliance and permitting (MassDEP, EPA, etc.).
  • Proven ability to manage environmental projects for private, municipal, and non-federal clients.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage both clients and internal teams effectively.
  • Licensed Site Professional (LSP) or ability to obtain is a plus.
