Job Description

Gpac is seeking a Commodity Coordinator to manage and monitor USDA commodity allocations for K-12 school nutrition programs. This role ensures accurate reporting, compliance with federal guidelines, and support for schools to optimize their commodity usage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track and reconcile USDA commodity balances across districts
  • Manage daily activity in Processor Link and maintain accurate data
  • Create and distribute reports on drawdown balances and usage trends
  • Collaborate with schools, processors, and internal teams to optimize allocations
  • Support compliance and audit readiness with organized documentation
  • Provide training and guidance to schools on commodity processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Nutrition, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in commodity management, K-12 foodservice, or related area
  • Strong Excel and reporting skills; Processor Link experience a plus
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of USDA Foods program guidelines is preferred
