Associate Attorney – Family Law
Location: Lexington, KY

Are you a dedicated Family Law Attorney looking to join a respected, client-focused firm in the heart of Lexington? We are partnering with a well-established law firm seeking a compassionate, driven, and highly skilled Family Law Associate to join their growing team.

The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a supportive environment, values professionalism, and is committed to helping clients navigate some of the most challenging moments of their lives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, paternity, and domestic violence cases

  • Handle all aspects of litigation (discovery, motions, hearings, mediations, trials, negotiations)

  • Maintain consistent communication with clients to ensure transparency and trust

  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, memoranda, settlement agreements, and court documents

  • Represent clients in court with confidence, professionalism, and empathy

  • Collaborate with a team of paralegals and administrative staff to ensure efficient case progress

Qualifications

  • Licensed and in good standing with the Kentucky Bar

  • At least 2 years of dedicated Family Law experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Litigation and courtroom experience preferred

  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills

  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and emotional intelligence
