PARALEGAL | 3+ years' experience

 

A well-established, mid-sized Pittsburgh law firm is urgently seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Paralegal to be an integral part of a dynamic team. This full-service law firm takes on complex cases in the areas of Business, Chapter 7, Chapter 11, Chapter 13 , Creditor's Rights, Foreclosure Defense. This is a daily in-office position in a collegial office culture, tech-savvy and built on teamwork; with opportunity for career development and growth. Offering competitive base salary from $55K-$65K DOE, with Employee Benefits Package, 401K, and quarterly bonuses available. 

Qualifications and duties include:

• 3+ years' law firm experience; Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred

• Monitor bankruptcy dockets and file proofs of claims; organizing and maintaining litigation case files

• Assist attorneys representing debtors, creditors, chapter 11 restructuring cases and proceedings

• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and build rapport with clients

Recent experience working as a paralegal in a bankruptcy firm a plus
