Job Title: Personal Injury Lawyer (2–6+ Years' Experience)
Location: Toronto, ON
Salary Range: $100,000 – $150,000+ (commensurate with experience, bonuses available)
About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leading personal injury law firm in Toronto, is seeking a dedicated and driven Personal Injury Lawyer to join their team. This is a fantastic chance to take ownership of a varied caseload within a supportive and reputable firm known for its client-centered approach and strong courtroom record.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage files from intake through to resolution, including conducting examinations, mediations, and trials
Draft and review pleadings, motion materials, mediation briefs, and discovery plans
Negotiate settlements and liaise with clients, insurers, and opposing counsel
Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies for each case
Participate in networking and business development initiatives (bonus potential tied to origination)
Qualifications:
2 to 6+ years of personal injury litigation experience in Ontario
Familiarity with motor vehicle accident claims, slip and fall matters, and catastrophic injury files
Strong advocacy, technical drafting, and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Admitted to the Ontario Bar and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
