Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Social Security Disability Attorney to join a respected practice in the Providence, Rhode Island area. This role is ideal for an attorney who is passionate about advocating for clients seeking Social Security Disability (SSD/SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of Social Security Disability and SSI claims.

  • Conduct client interviews, develop case strategies, and prepare supporting documentation.

  • Represent clients at hearings before Administrative Law Judges (ALJs).

  • Draft briefs, motions, and supporting legal documents.

  • Collaborate with paralegals, advocates, and medical experts to strengthen client cases.

  • Maintain compliance with all Social Security Administration (SSA) regulations and deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) and active license to practice law (Rhode Island bar required, additional admissions a plus).

  • 1+ years of experience in Social Security Disability law preferred (will consider candidates with strong litigation or administrative law backgrounds).

  • Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills.

  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with efficiency and attention to detail.
