Position Summary:
The Associate Wealth Advisor supports senior advisors in managing client relationships, delivering financial planning, and executing investment strategies. This role is ideal for a candidate on the CFP® track or with aspirations of growing into a lead advisory position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support senior advisors in client relationship management and service
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial plans
- Prepare for and participate in client meetings; follow up on action items
- Conduct investment research and portfolio analysis
- Manage client onboarding and data gathering
- Use CRM and planning software to maintain accurate client records
- Stay up to date on market trends, financial planning techniques, and regulatory changes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, or investment advisory
- Progress toward or completion of CFP® certification strongly preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficient with financial planning tools (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuidePro) and CRM systems
- FINRA Series 65 or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire
