Tax Senior

Location: Frisco, TX (or Dallas / Houston, TX)

Overview

A leading national advisory, tax and assurance firm is seeking a Tax Senior for its North Texas practice. Frisco is among the listed Texas offices (Dallas and Houston also considered). The role provides federal tax compliance and consulting to S corporations, partnerships, individuals and corporations.

Responsibilities

• Provide federal tax compliance and consulting services to S corporations, partnerships, individuals and corporations
• Participate in tax research projects and help draft IRS responses
• Team with leaders on special projects in corporate and flow-through taxation
• Develop recommendations for clients and share with leadership
• Coordinate with specialty tax practices on complicated tax matters
• Learn and grow from on-the-job coaching and firm-wide learning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• CPA eligible or working toward CPA
• Prior public accounting tax experience
• Strong technical aptitude and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively on engagement teams
