They are seeking a Tax Manager to oversee a team of highly motivated staff.  Performance Expectations for the Tax Manager:

  • Oversee and train a team of highly motivated staff accountants/tax accountants
  • Provide tax compliance and consulting to a diverse base of clients
  • Oversee complex tax projects for a variety of clients and diverse industries
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Be a hands-on leader
  • Be the bridge between the Partners & Staff

Experience/Qualifications for the Tax Manager:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, or Equivalent
  • Master of Science and Taxation degree (highly desirable)
  • CPA Certificate required (Open to an EA with the right skill set)
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience in public accounting. Experience in Audit & or Business Advisory is highly desired.
  • Must have the ability to utilize firm technology to enhance client service
  • Must have strong multi-tasking skills
  • Must have strong leadership skills
  • Must be willing to work >40 hours per week during busy season
  • Applicants must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

 Compensation for the Tax Manager:

  • Benefits: Simple IRA w/ 3% match & Major Holiday’s Paid
  • 10 days of PTO/ year + 1 PTO day accrual/ month

  • No required minimum billable hours
