Job Description

I am partnered with a growing firm who seeks an attorney with 3-5 years of experience to work in a practice group that handles both bodily injury defense and maritime law.

Responsibilities:

  • Take and defend depositions
  • Draft and argue dispositive motions
  • Attend hearings, mediations, and trials
  • Perform legal research and provide analysis of case law
  • Prepare pleadings and correspondence
  • Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel
  • Provide exemplary legal counsel to clients

Qualifications:

  • Must have Florida Bar, in good standings
  •  3-5 years of experience
  • Prior experience in maritime law
  • Great writing skills
  • Team Player
  • Transferable book of business preferred, not necessary
