🚨 Now Hiring: MiTek Truss Designer (Full-Time | On-Site)

I’m working with a strong, well-established component manufacturer that is ready to add a high-level Truss Designer to their team.

This is not an entry-level drafting role.This is for someone who understands production, code compliance, timelines — and how design decisions impact the plant floor and the jobsite.

🛠 What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Designing accurate roof and floor truss systems using MiTek software

• Producing complete Truss Placement Plans and engineered design drawings

• Reviewing architectural and structural plans and catching issues before they become problems

• Working directly with sales, production, architects, engineers, and field teams

• Assisting with repairs, field fixes, and value-engineered solutions

• Ensuring all designs meet building codes, safety standards, and project specs

• Supporting a fast-paced production environment where deadlines matter

This team values precision, accountability, and collaboration. They move quickly — and expect the same from their designers.

✅ What I’m Looking For:

• 3–5+ years of truss design experience

• Strong proficiency in MiTek (required — non-negotiable)

• Solid understanding of construction methods and engineered wood products

• Ability to confidently read and interpret blueprints

• Strong communication skills — you’ll interact with multiple stakeholders

• Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
