Job Title: Project Manager – Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB)
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) projects. The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing design, fabrication, and erection phases, managing budgets and schedules, and coordinating with clients, engineers, and field teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities:
Manage all phases of PEMB projects from pre-construction through closeout
Coordinate with design, detailing, fabrication, and erection teams to ensure accuracy and timely completion
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and subcontractors
Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance and quality control
Track and manage change orders, RFIs, and submittals
Support field operations and provide solutions for construction or design-related issues
Promote safety, quality, and productivity throughout all project phases
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience managing PEMB or steel building projects
Strong understanding of PEMB systems, erection processes, and related construction methods
Experience coordinating with engineering and detailing teams
Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or similar)
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
