A well-established and highly regarded law firm in Palm Beach County is seeking a Corporate Tax Attorney with 4+ years of drafting experience to join its growing tax and business practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to work on sophisticated tax planning and transactional matters while building a long-term career within a collaborative and respected firm.
What You'll Do
- Advise businesses, owners, and high-net-worth clients on federal, state, and local tax matters
- Draft and review tax provisions related to mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and other corporate transactions
- Assist with entity formation, business structuring, and tax-efficient planning strategies
- Draft and negotiate operating agreements, partnership agreements, shareholder agreements, and related corporate documents
- Conduct tax research and prepare legal memoranda on complex tax issues
- Collaborate with attorneys, accountants, financial advisors, and business owners on planning and transactional matters
- Support ongoing corporate, tax, and business succession planning initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Active Florida Bar license in good standing
- 4–8 years of corporate tax experience
- Strong drafting experience involving corporate, transactional, and tax-related documents
- Experience advising businesses on entity selection, structuring, and tax planning matters
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills
- Ability to manage matters independently while working closely with clients and colleagues
- LL.M. in Taxation is a plus but not required
