Associate Attorney – Business Litigation | Fort Myers, FL

A well-respected and growing firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Business Litigation Practice Group in Fort Myers. This is an excellent opportunity to handle sophisticated litigation matters in a collaborative environment with strong resources and long-term career potential.

What They’re Looking For

  • 4–7 years of experience in business litigation, including trial exposure

  • Strong ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective strategies

  • Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills

  • Experience drafting complaints, managing discovery, and conducting depositions

  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to professional development

  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines while maintaining sound judgment

  • Member of the Florida Bar in good standing

What You’ll Do

  • Represent clients in business litigation matters in state and federal courts

  • Draft pleadings, complaints, motions, and other litigation documents

  • Manage discovery, including depositions and expert witness coordination

  • Provide case assessments and strategic guidance to clients

  • Collaborate with partners and colleagues within a respected practice group

  • Build and maintain client relationships through proactive communication and effective advocacy
