Associate Attorney – Medical Malpractice

 

Location: Los Angeles, CA (In-Office)

A highly reputable and well-established Los Angeles–based attorney is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join a growing medical malpractice practice. This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-performing, well-supported environment with exceptional earning potential and no trial requirement.

Practice Areas

  • Medical Malpractice

  • Birth Injury

  • Surgical Errors

  • Medical Negligence

  • Wrongful Death

  • Cerebral Palsy

Position Overview

  • Associate Attorney role

  • Ideal candidates will have 5–7 years of experience (attorneys with additional experience will also be considered)

  • Manage approximately 12–16 cases per year

  • No trial work required — approximately 99% of cases settle pre-trial

Compensation & Earning Potential

  • Base salary: $175,000–$200,000

  • 3.5% of attorney fees from assigned cases

  • Recent hires earned $400,000–$675,000 in their first year

Key Requirements

  • Strong deposition skills (deposition examples will be requested)

  • Comfortable with virtual proceedings (99% of depositions are conducted virtually)

  • Experience handling complex medical malpractice matters
