Title: Wood Framing Panel Designer Pay: $70,000–$95,000+ Employment: Full-Time
We’re hiring an experienced Wood Framing Panel Designer to support large-scale multifamily wood framing projects. In this role, the Wood Framing Panel Designer will handle full panel design, coordinate with project teams, and ensure accuracy from concept through completion. You’ll work closely with architects, engineers, and field staff while helping improve design processes, software usage, and documentation standards.
Responsibilities:
Complete detailed wood framing panel designs
Coordinate design changes and maintain accurate documentation
Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and field crews
Assist with material optimization and drawing management
Provide field support and resolve design-related issues
Qualifications:
3+ years of wood framing, panel design, or structural design experience
Proficiency in panel design software (MiTek Sapphire Structure)
Strong understanding of wood framing systems and building codes
Excellent communication and organization skills
