Senior Quality Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality excellence within a fast-paced, high-precision manufacturing environment. In this role, you’ll lead the development and execution of quality systems aligned with aerospace standards, support new product introduction, and partner closely with operations, engineering, suppliers, and customers to ensure all requirements are met.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop, update, and maintain quality policies, procedures, and documentation aligned with AS9100 requirements.
  • Apply AS9145/APQP methodologies to strengthen processes for new and existing products.
  • Lead internal audits and support external audits to maintain certifications.
  • Drive corrective action efforts, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide training and onboarding on quality standards, processes, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and customers to ensure quality expectations and compliance.
  • Support process engineering efforts including documentation, GD&T interpretation, and equipment-related quality checks.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related engineering discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment; aerospace experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001 and hands-on experience with APQP/AS9145.
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis and continuous improvement tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Understanding of assembly processes, tooling, robotics, and inspection equipment.
  • Experience with plating or paint processes is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
