Job Title: Commercial Real Estate Attorney

About Us: I am partnered with a well known, well-established law firm looking to add a commercial real estate attorney to their team.

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Real Estate Attorney with at least 4 years of experience to join our Norfolk, VA office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling a wide range of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial real estate contracts, leases, and related documents

  • Conduct due diligence and title review for property transactions

  • Advise clients on legal aspects of commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction processes

  • Stay updated on relevant real estate laws and regulations in Virginia and surrounding areas

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

  • Licensed to practice law in Virginia

  • Minimum 4 years of commercial real estate legal experience

  • Strong knowledge of commercial real estate transactions, contracts, and financing

  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
