If you know OSHA and like being out on the shop floor instead of behind a desk, this one is worth a look. A steel fabrication shop in Katy, TX, in west Houston, is hiring a Safety Coordinator. The job includes about 10 hours of overtime weekly, incredible benefits, and an opportunity to grow.

In This Role You'll

• Carry out shop inspections and audits and close out hazards
• Run toolbox talks and safety trainings, and onboard new hires with safety orientations
• Collaborate with shop leadership on a strong safety culture
• Manage the day-to-day safety programs on the fab floor
• Investigate incidents and keep OSHA records and documentation in order

You Have

• Strong communication skills and comfort on a shop floor
• Safety experience from manufacturing, construction or fabrication
• Working knowledge of OSHA standards
• Ability to work on-site in Katy, TX, with about 10 hours of overtime a week
