Tax Manager

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Overview

A large national accounting and advisory firm is seeking a Tax Manager in Indianapolis with partnership and S corporation compliance experience. You will manage clients’ tax compliance needs, anticipate tax and business issues, recognize planning opportunities and serve as the main point of contact for clients, managing workflows, deadlines, deliverables and communications.

Responsibilities

• Manage partnership tax engagements and provide knowledgeable review of complex partnership and S corporation returns
• Lead and develop U.S. and international tax associates and seniors in a fast-paced environment
• Serve as the main client contact and manage workflows, deadlines and deliverables
• Train and develop less experienced professional staff
• Demonstrate superior client service skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's preferred
• Active CPA license required
• Minimum 4 years of public accounting experience, including at least 2 years of managerial experience
• Demonstrated background working with partnerships
• Strong understanding of clients' businesses and industries
