We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Territory Seed Sales Manager to join a growing agricultural sales team. This role will be responsible for managing and expanding a designated territory by selling seed products directly to farmers, growers, and retail accounts.
The ideal candidate will have a strong agriculture background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building long-term customer relationships throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage customer relationships with farmers, growers, and ag retailers throughout the territory
- Promote and sell seed products while providing agronomic recommendations and support
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market share within the assigned region
- Conduct on-farm visits, product demonstrations, and customer meetings
- Maintain strong knowledge of seed products, market trends, and competitor activity
- Collaborate with internal teams to support customer needs and sales growth
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer appreciation events as needed
- Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and territory reports
Qualifications
- Agriculture, agronomy, seed, or farming experience required
- Prior seed sales or ag sales experience preferred
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a territory
- Knowledge of crop production and farming operations preferred
- Proficient with basic computer and CRM software systems
- Willingness to travel throughout the territory regularly
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $70,000 – $110,000 DOE
- Performance bonuses and incentive opportunities
