Accounts Payable Specialist 

Full-Time 💰 $60,000–$80,000 per year

Overview

We’re hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist to support our accounting team. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of AP experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage invoices, vendor relationships, and reconciliations accurately. Construction industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process and schedule invoices and check requests

• Resolve purchase order, contract, or payment discrepancies

• Prioritize invoices for payment based on terms and discounts

• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships

• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting

• Maintain organized files and documentation

• Support other accounting projects as needed

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of accounts payable experience, construction preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Familiarity with Vista by Viewpoint a plus

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Positive, collaborative, and proactive mindset
