Position Overview

A highly respected, full-service law firm with a 100+ year legacy of excellence is seeking a mid-level Litigation Associate to join its thriving Financial Services Litigation Practice Group in St. Louis.

This is a premier opportunity for an ambitious attorney looking to handle sophisticated commercial litigation work while benefiting from structured, one-on-one professional development plans, individualized coaching, and a clear path for career growth.

The Day-to-Day

  • Take ownership of cases from inception through discovery and trial preparation.

  • Actively attend and represent clients at depositions, settlement conferences, and hearings.

  • Draft complex motions, discovery responses, pleadings, and high-level client reports.

  • Collaborate on trial strategy, conduct key records reviews, and handle client and witness preparation.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 3 to 5 years of litigation-based practice.

  • Must possess an active Missouri law license (or be eligible for immediate admission).

  • Proven hands-on experience taking and defending depositions.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities are required.

  • Experience advising on financial services regulatory and compliance matters, and a focus on FINRA arbitration, is highly advantageous.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

  • The firm actively avoids the "sink or swim" model, offering formalized, individual training and executive coaching to help you reach your career goals.

  • Enjoy a structured hybrid schedule offering 2 remote days and 3 in-office days per week following onboarding.

  • A historically stable, inclusive firm that marries sophisticated, high-stakes work with a supportive environment.
