Key Responsibilities for Assistant Sales Director

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including property developers, designers, architects, and contractors.
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategic sales plans to enhance market share and profitability.
  • Set sales goals and monitor team performance to ensure targets are achieved or surpassed.
  • Train, mentor, and coach sales representatives to elevate their product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service capabilities.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings to discuss progress, strategies, and project updates.
  • Collaborate with marketing to align sales strategies with promotional campaigns and market initiatives.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues to maintain exceptional satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Analyze sales data, prepare reports, and identify trends to forecast future performance and refine sales tactics.
  • Oversee CRM system administration, ensuring accurate and timely recording of customer interactions and sales activities.
  • Play an active role in the recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of new sales team members.
  • Manage key accounts directly and lead high-stakes sales pitches when needed.
  • Contribute to the management of sales budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications for Assistant Sales Director

  • A minimum of 4 years of sales experience in building materials or related industries.
  • Proven experience in leading sales teams and developing effective sales strategies.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to connect with key industry stakeholders.
