Job Description

A growing, employee-owned organization supporting the AEC and construction industry is seeking an experienced Real Estate & Facilities Manager to oversee its commercial real estate portfolio and facility operations.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in commercial real estate, facilities management, property management, or portfolio management.

This position combines real estate strategy, lease management, construction and capital projects, facilities operations, financial management, and team leadership.

Responsibilities

· Identify and evaluate potential property acquisitions.

· Coordinate real estate due diligence.

· Develop property investment recommendations.

· Evaluate, negotiate, and administer commercial leases.

· Manage office, warehouse, and shop facilities.

· Lead facility planning, design, construction, renovations, and expansions.

· Manage capital improvement projects.

· Oversee building operations and preventative maintenance.

· Ensure facility compliance and support ongoing improvements.

· Supervise facilities, maintenance, and grounds personnel.

· Manage outside vendors, contractors, and service providers.

· Solicit bids and negotiate contracts.

· Develop operating and capital budgets.

· Monitor expenditures and project costs.

· Travel as needed to support company facilities and business objectives.

Qualifications

· 7+ years of commercial real estate, facilities management, property management, or portfolio management experience.

· Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Engineering, Facilities Management, Business, or related field preferred.

· Experience with property acquisitions and due diligence.

· Commercial lease negotiation and administration experience.

· Experience managing construction, renovation, or capital improvement projects.

· Strong knowledge of building and facility operations.

· Staff leadership experience.

· Vendor and contractor management experience.

· Strong budgeting and financial management skills.

· Excellent project management, communication, and negotiation skills.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.

· Construction industry experience is a plus.

· Ability to travel as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

· $90,000–$120,000 Base Salary
