A clear leader in specialty underground construction is seeking a Geotechnical/ Heavy Civil  OPERATIONS MANAGER with experience managing and providing oversite for all financial and manpower operations.

Our typical scope of work includes the installation of piles, lagging, walers, braces, Deep foundations Large diameter drilled shaft and caissons Soil nailing Underpinning and more for support of excavation and deep foundation projects. We also take on projects with underpinning, grouting, tunneling, and unique wall structures as part of their scope.

Strong Preference for Operations Manager with Geotechnical Construction 

OPERATIONS MANAGER Responsibilities:

OPERATIONS MANAGER Business Planning

• Develops long-term plans to grow the operations.

OPERATIONS MANAGER Project Management and Initial Planning

• Reviews and determines project schedules, equipment, and field crew requirements.
• Ensure business plan revenue and profitability goals are defined and achieved.
• Assists General Superintendents, Superintendents, and Project Managers with project issues and/or challenges as needed.
• Remains current on the status of projects through regular communication with project teams, and manages escalated issues as needed.

OPERATIONS MANAGER Financial Management

• Prepare project budget, schedule, track project costs, and monthly revenue and profit estimates.
• Reviews and manages shop costs in coordination with the Shop Manager.
• Manages equipment efficiently.
• Builds annual Capital Expenditure list.
• Manages and minimizes overhead costs where appropriate.

OPERATIONS MANAGER Required Experience: 

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of Geotechnical construction or industry-related experience preferred.
• Excellent computer, written and verbal communication skills necessary.
