Electrical BIM Coordinator 100% Remote

An established electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical BIM Coordinator to support commercial and industrial electrical construction projects. This is a 100% remote opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of electrical systems, BIM coordination, and construction drawings.

The ideal candidate will work closely with project management, estimating, and field teams to ensure accurate models, resolve coordination conflicts, and support efficient project execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and coordinate electrical BIM models for commercial and industrial construction projects.
• Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts with other building systems.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, general contractors, and other trades.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and electrical layouts for accuracy.
• Produce coordinated drawings, shop drawings, and installation details.
• Identify potential field conflicts and communicate solutions before installation.
• Maintain model accuracy and ensure deliverables meet project requirements.
• Support project teams throughout preconstruction and construction.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical BIM coordination within the electrical construction industry.
• Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, and related BIM coordination software.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and construction documents.
• Understanding of commercial and industrial electrical systems.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with remote project teams.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $85,000–$115,000, depending on experience.
