A leading full-service Settlement & Escrow Company is seeking a Clearance Officer to join their growing Commercial Team. This reputable Title Insurance Agency, one of the largest in the Northeast, handles nationwide real estate transactions ranging from single-family homes to the most complex multi-site commercial deals. Position: Clearance Officer
Location: Remote, with opportunities for internal growth
Compensation: $70,000+ (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Interaction: Collaborate with Attorneys, Banks, Developers, and Company Underwriters to manage files.
  • Document Review: Review proformas, LLC documents, corporate documents, partnership documents, trusts, estate documents, and affidavits.
  • Problem Solving: Resolve title commitment issues that the clearance team is not authorized to handle.
  • Organizational Skills: Maintain the system to ensure all milestones meet company policy and address client requests in a timely manner.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years in commercial title industry (NY, NJ, PA experience preferred).
  • Certification: Paralegal Certification is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and effective communication (both written and verbal).
  • Tech: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
