Real Estate Transactional / Corporate Attorney
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Position Type: Full-Time
An expanding Indianapolis law firm is seeking a Transactional Associate Attorney to join its core operations group. This role is ideal for a professional looking for meaningful career development, direct client management, and long-term advancement within a collaborative setting.
Core Practice Areas: Real estate transactions, corporate law, contract drafting and negotiation, municipal/governmental advisory, and corporate governance.
Key Responsibilities:
Document Drafting & Review: Draft and negotiate complex real estate contracts, easements, legal opinion letters, governing corporate documents, and amendments.
Client Engagement: Serve as a key client liaison via phone and in-person meetings, including chairing corporate client meetings and handling public speaking engagements.
Compliance & Operations: Apply and navigate county real estate and recorder requirements; utilize modern legal software to manage electronic task lists and billing.
Team & Load Management: Direct support staff while balancing a high-volume transactional caseload efficiently.
Qualifications:
Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience in real estate, corporate, or contract law, or advisory work for municipalities/governmental entities.
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with Microsoft operating systems and modern practice management tools.
Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication abilities, strong work ethic, and a track record of reliability.
Availability: Standard business hours, with flexibility for select evening or weekend client meetings.
