Job Description

We are currently working with a manufacturing company in Lenawee County that is looking to fill the position of QMS Coordinator. This person will oversee the maintenance and updates of the quality management system, approve QMS documentation changes, manage internal audits, actively monitor quality objectives, and report quality key performance indicators (KPIs). Additionally, you will ensure proper calibration of measuring equipment, coordinate safety audits, and manage the company’s training system.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain and update the quality management system.

Review/approve the changes related to QMS documentation.

Manage internal audit schedule, conduct internal audits, and assist with external audits.

Actively monitor Quality objectives and report Quality KPIs.

Manage calibration program: ensure measuring equipment is maintained and calibrated.

Conducting or assisting with regulatory and quality training sessions.

Coordinating and overseeing all safety audits.

Manage company’s training management system: assigning necessary training to employees and ensuring timely completion.

Minimum Qualifications:

3-5 years experience in manufacturing working with Quality Management Systems.

Primary knowledge of ISO 9001 Standard.

Basic mechanical comprehension.

Experience with ERP is a plus.

Microsoft Office skills.

Basic analytical skills.

Use of safe practices PPE in a production environment.

The position is on-site.

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S., without current or future requirements for sponsorship of an employment-based visa status.

The wage range is $41-47K DOE.
