About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Labor & Employment Attorney with 3 – 8 years of experience in labor and employment laws and litigation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in representing public and private employers in workplace matters, conducting internal investigations, and drafting employment-related agreements. This position requires a deep understanding of labor laws and the ability to provide strategic legal counsel to clients on various employment matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent employers in labor, employment, and education law matters, including disciplinary actions, terminations, and defending against discrimination claims.
  • Conduct internal investigations related to workplace disputes and compliance concerns under employment and labor laws.
  • Draft employment contracts, separation agreements, and severance agreements to ensure compliance with labor laws.
  • Provide guidance on state and federal employment laws, including FMLA, FLSA, ADA, Title VII, and other workplace regulations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and fellow attorneys across practice areas to deliver comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
  • Stay updated on evolving employment and labor laws and provide proactive compliance advice to employers.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed attorney in Florida.
  • 3 – 10 years of relevant experience in labor and employment law.
  • Strong litigation and client counseling experience in employment disputes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently while ensuring compliance with labor laws.
  • Strong academic credentials and a proven ability to navigate complex employment regulations.
