Job Description

Gpac is working with a food manufacturing company in Evansville, Indiana seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join their leadership team. This organization operates in a high-volume production environment and is backed by a growing company that continues to invest in people, equipment, and long-term expansion.

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for leading maintenance operations, ensuring equipment reliability, driving preventive maintenance programs, and supporting production across multiple shifts. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop maintenance technicians to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs
  • Support production, packaging, and processing equipment reliability
  • Coordinate with production and leadership teams across shifts
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, GMP, food safety, and sanitation standards
  • Utilize CMMS systems for work orders, scheduling, and inventory control
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

  • 3–5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in food manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of GMPs, food safety, and sanitation
  • Experience supporting multi-shift operations
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and hold teams accountable
  • Hands-on troubleshooting and equipment maintenance experience
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
