Electrical Project Manager in Kansas City in Topeka

Job Description

Gpac has partnered with a heavy civil contractor looking to add an Electrical Project Manager to their team.  The Electrical Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the safety, quality, production, and ultimate successful completion of all assigned projects. They will oversee electrical scopes of work and will bring a blend of technical electrical expertise and project management experience.

Electrical Project Manager Duties:

• Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish
• Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project specifications are met
• Review and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budget
• Conduct regular site visits to inspect workmanship and quality of construction
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and permits
   

Electrical Project Manager Requirements:

• Degree in electrical engineering, construction management or related field (preferred)
• Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role
• Strong industry experience specific to construction, electrical codes, or equivalent knowledge.
• Experience with typical PM software tools, or equivalents, including Bluebeam Revu, Excel, AutoCAD, BIM360, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), MS Project, P6, Google Earth, Google Drive, MS Teams, and willingness to learn new and project-specific programs
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, schematics, and blueprints
