About the Opportunity

A well-regarded national law firm is seeking an experienced Corporate Finance Associate Attorney to join its Kansas City office. This role offers the chance to handle sophisticated transactions while working within a collaborative, high-performance practice group.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage transactions involving:

    • Mergers & acquisitions (M&A)

    • Venture capital investments

    • Private equity / leveraged buyouts

    • Capital markets and securities offerings

  • Advise clients on corporate governance and securities law compliance (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements).

  • Provide guidance on public and private offerings of equity and debt securities.

  • Partner with colleagues and clients to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.


Candidate Profile

  • Active Missouri Bar license required.

  • 5+ years of corporate finance/transactional experience.

  • Strong academic background.

  • Excellent drafting, analytical, leadership, and client service skills.

  • Proven ability to manage matters independently.
