Associate Attorney – Employment Law (San Diego)

The ideal candidate will have experience in employment litigation, including defending employer clients in single-plaintiff matters in both court and arbitration, as well as investigating and responding to administrative charges. Wage and hour experience is a plus but not required. Responsibilities

  • Handle all phases of employment litigation, including research, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial prep
  • Develop case strategies, advise clients, and argue motions in court.
  • Draft pleadings, legal briefs, and motions.
  • Collaborate with partners, associates, paralegals, and clients to manage cases efficiently.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of litigation experience; employment law background preferred.
  • Active California Bar membership.
  • Solid understanding of state and federal court procedures.
  • Excellent legal writing, advocacy, and analytical skills.
  • Able to manage multiple cases independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with depositions, mediations, and court appearances
  • Trial experience is a plus but not required.
