Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Control professional to lead and oversee the quality control program at our manufacturing facility in Georgia. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring all customer and internal requirements are consistently met, while driving the development, implementation, and continual improvement of our–aligned Quality Management System (QMS). The position requires strong collaboration with operations, engineering, purchasing, and customers, as well as effective communication across all levels of the organization. This role reports directly to the Quality Manager.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain, monitor, and continuously improve the company’s ISO –compliant Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Lead preparation, execution, and documentation of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities, including customer-ready submission packages.
  • Develop, update, and administer quality documentation, including the Quality Manual, procedures, work instructions, forms, and records.
  • Collect, analyze, and report measurement data to identify trends, process capability, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support receiving, in-process, and final inspections; assist in testing activities to ensure product conformance.
  • Communicate measurement findings and coordinate corrective actions with manufacturing and engineering teams.
  • Conduct routine audits of inspection processes and ensure all quality functions are operating within requirements.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proficiency with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc.).
  • Ability to understand and operate a manual CMM.
  • Working knowledge of machining, processing operations, and mechanical assembly.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
