Job Description

A community bank in Waverly is seeking a Credit Analyst to support its lenders across Bremer County and northeast Iowa. You'll partner with loan officers on underwriting and risk ratings, with room to grow into lending or a senior credit role.

Responsibilities:

• Spread financial statements and tax returns for commercial and ag borrowers
• Analyze and risk-rate new requests and existing credit lines
• Prepare concise credit write-ups for loan officers and loan committee
• Assist with month-end, regulatory, and portfolio reporting
• Help keep loan files compliant with policy and exam standards
• Share knowledge and help train newer staff

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting
• At least one year of bank credit analysis preferred
• Strong spreadsheet and analytical skills
• Works well with loan officers and other departments
• Interested in a long-term path toward lending or credit
